Surrounded by Edvard Munchs monumental Aula frieze, Sivert E. Iglebæk Thue (Collection Curator for the Munch Museum) will offer us food for thought inspired by connections between Munch’s art and music.

7pm - Concert

The Engegård Quartet and Frøy Hovland Holtbakk present a programme in the name of love, for Oslo Quartet Series season finale. Schönberg’s transcendentally beautiful 2nd String Quartet was composed in 1908, a couple of years before Edvard Munch’s paintings were installed in the University’s Aula. The concert also includes works by Zemlinsky, Beethoven and Clara Schumann.
